This video dives into customizing a bill of materials (BOM) in FOND Planner to align with funding requirements. The BOM feature enables accurate cost estimation by counting key network elements, from poles and cable lengths to splices and splitters. Users can configure costs for different structures, such as underground access points, to reflect true project expenses. Once set, the BOM can be exported for further analysis or sharing with stakeholders.
